Former Advisor to US President Barack Obama, Aneesh Chopra will be the main presenter on Tuesday October 30th from 7am to 1230pm when the Trinidad and Tobago Coalition of Services Industries (TTCSI hosts a session entitled “ Unleashing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for Development”, at the Hyatt Hotel. President Obama appointed Mr. Chopra as the first Chief Technology Officer of the United States in April 2009. In his position as Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Chopra’s job was to promote technological innovation to help the county meet its goals such as job creation, reducing health care costs, and protecting the homeland. Mr. Chopra designed the National Wireless Initiative and executed and open innovation strategy across the agencies built on private sector collaboration.
