TTCSI Position – 3 Year Contract
JOB TITLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MEMBERSHIP OFFICER
JOB SUMMARY: The Business Development and Membership Officer plays a crucial role in expanding our organization’s membership base and fostering business growth and development within the services industry. This position involves building and maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing members, implementing strategic growth initiatives, supporting the administrative and operational tasks of the TTCSI and contributing to the overall success of TTCSI.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Membership Growth: Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain members
from various sectors within the services industry.
- Prospect Identification: Identify and engage potential members, including service providers, businesses, and professionals, to promote TTCSI’s membership benefits.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing members, ensuring their ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
- Membership Services: Provide excellent customer service to members, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing support.
- Business Development: Collaborate with members to identify business growth opportunities, helping them connect with resources and initiatives to enhance their success.
- Networking: Act as a liaison between members, facilitating networking opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within the services sector.
- Events and Workshops: Coordinate and support events, workshops, and initiatives aimed at promoting the services industry and member participation.
- Support the administrative and operational tasks of the TTCSI as needed.
- Advocacy Support: Assist in advocacy efforts, representing the interests and concerns of the services industry to government bodies and relevant stakeholders.
- Membership Communications: Develop and maintain effective communication strategies, including newsletters, updates, and social media, to keep members informed and engaged.
- Reporting: Generate reports and provide regular updates to the management team on membership growth and business development activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Proven experience in business development, membership growth, or a similar role.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and membership management software.
- A solid understanding of the services industry and its dynamics.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- University degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- ACCA Level II or equivalent
