JOB SUMMARY:
To provide the full range of operations and administrative support to the TTCSI. The Office Manager is responsible for administrative activities, membership and stakeholder engagements along with responsibility for implementing a comprehensive range of activities that strengthens the work of the TTCSI.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all administrative duties of the TTCSI
- Provides operational support to the Chief Executive Officer
- Accounting and financial support to the TTCSI’s accountant which entails the preparation of financial statements and reports; data entry, bank reconciliations, Statutory deductions; and monitoring of receivables and payables and related Accounting duties
- Strategic engagement with stakeholders and members of the TTCSI by providing relevant information and support as required
- Provide guidance and information to potential members, including those in a “formation” stage
- Circulate via email and social media platforms, the TTCSI’s newsletters, bulletins, invitations, etc to the membership
- Contributes to the development of revenue generating events and activities
- Manage the logistical arrangements for events
- Attend meetings and networking events for an on behalf of the TTCSI
- Build and maintain working relationships and alliances with national, regional and international stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree in business administration, communications, or a related field. The professional must have the capacity to manage the administrative and operations of a small business. Microsoft Office suite, including Peachtree accounting software, and strong oral and written communication skills. A level of flexibility will be an asset and the candidate must possess a minimum accounting qualification of ACCA Level II or equivalent and at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
